VICTORY IN FAILURE

We are not condemned; Jesus Blood made us free.

A few months ago, the Holy Ghost led me to pray for someone, and in obedience I did. The next day the person called me and told me they made a huge mistake and was devastated because they were waiting for consequences from the Lord. When I was told about the situation I was baffled because I obeyed God, so their mistake should have been stopped. Right?

Well, a few weeks ago the Lord reminded me of that prayer. Then He said to me, “the prayer was to set the person free”. What is He talking about? The person made a mistake, and shouldn’t there be consequences for that action? Well, He broke it down further. He said my obedience to pray stopped condemnation from taking effect. Meaning it allowed the person to literally have no feeling of sorrow, sadness, or depression for the sin committed because Jesus took away the authority from the enemy, so he could not torment this person with the wrong that was done.

What!!! How could this be?

Jesus in his infinite knowledge of the past and present, saves us each and everyday from the condemnation of the enemy. Scripture tell us “there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.” (Romans 8:1 KJV) So, even though this person should have felt the consequences, God did not allow it because He knew this person would have been destroyed by it. And not only that, but the fact that this person repented put them back in the spirit, which blocks their torment from the enemy.

Jesus’s death on the cross did the same thing for us all. His blood took away the enemy’s power of tormenting us when we make mistakes. His word says, “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) and since we are not perfected yet, we are going to make mistakes; some life altering. When we are under the blood of Jesus there is nothing that the enemy has the authority to use against us, once we have repented.

Jesus knows and have already paid the price for our mistakes. He knew we would mess-up even before we did, and He wants us to still hold our head high without condemnation. So, if you are someone dealing with condemnation today; know this, once you repent all your sinful mistakes are deleted by the blood of Jesus.

Which makes us victorious even in our failures and mistakes.
